About Me
My name is Sam Rahm, and I am a scenic designer. I graduated from Penn State University in State College, Pennsylvania, in May 2026 with a BFA in Theatre Technology and Design, emphasizing Scenic Design. My goal is to build a career in the themed entertainment and amusement industry, where I can combine my passion for immersive environments with my background in scenic design. I have been fascinated by dark attractions for as long as I can remember and have been building my own props and decorations since childhood. This portfolio showcases a wide range of my work, including academic projects, personal creations, and professional experience.
Our Town
During my senior year at Penn State, I got the opportunity to design the show Our Town for Penn State Centre Stage.

During an independent study at Penn State, I took on my first opportunity to design a walkthrough attraction rather than a traditional theatrical set.
Ghost Ship
During the Summer of 2023, 2025, and 2026, I worked as a Supervisor and Trainer at this haunted walk-through attraction at the award-winning Morey’s Piers in Wildwood, NJ.

For the summer seasons of 2022-2026 I worked as an Attractions Supervisor for Morey’s Piers in Wildwood, NJ.
