Intro. to Scenic Design
At Penn State we take multiple Scenic Design classes. I started with Intro. to Scenic Design in my sophomore year.
Prop Shop
For Penn State, we are required to help construct the shows for the current year. We do six main stage productions a year and I am assigned to the prop shop.
Paint Shop
Penn State’s paint shop is where all of our constructed scenery goes to get any kind of treatment. There are multiple scenic painting classes we take in the shop. As scenic students we can be assigned to do our shop hours in the paint shop or we can volunteer.
Bonnets Production
Penn States 2023 season closed out with the production Bonnets: How Ladies of Good Breeding are Induce to Murder. Here are some picture to highlight key moments from the prodction.
